Virus and Trojan creators are use inviting techniques to get people to click on their links both in email and web-sites.  Remember, anti-virus software developers respond to these attacks after they are already present on the Internet.  Therefore, in order to protect yourself be very careful of following email and web-site links.

The PSU Helpdesk and the PSU Computer Repair Center are available to assist you should you fall prey to a virus or spyware.  Often the resolution involves a lengthy clean-up process or even a complete system restore.  Computer warranties do not cover virus or spyware cleaning.
